INNS
What’s the difference between a “Hotel” and an “Inn”? We’re sure the answer varies for different people, but here’s an answer that isn’t outstanding, but probably gets the point across: a hotel has several employees doing several individual jobs, whereas an Inn has a few employees sharing all of the jobs that need to be done. We know that answer generalizes the definitions, but you get the point.
At any rate, the Finger Lakes region abounds with several outstanding “Inns”, many with roots dating famously back to the 19th Century. We will tell you about the best of them here.
